Studied Communication Design at GLS Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, where branding, typography and moving frames became home.
About Rupabrata Bhattacharya
I work on interfaces, systems, publications, brands, posters, illustrations, games.
Hey, I'm Rupabrata. My name means “devoted to form”. Function, I picked up later.
I design for every kind of system, whether it's clear, complicated, complex or chaotic.

The story (so) far
From frames of animation to frames of Figma :D
Interned at Trip Creative Services, bringing a folktale from Jharkhand to life in Sohrai-inspired frames: research, animation and direction, almost single-handedly.
Assisted direction on a Gates Foundation-backed short film, and learned how a hundred small decisions make one story.
Then came CEED 2025, All India Rank 63, and a seat in the M.Des at IIT Kanpur.
That's where systems pulled me in. MRI maintenance dashboards, heatwave campaigns, and the cognitive load hiding inside complex work. At Inter IIT Tech Meet 14.0, IIT Kanpur placed 2nd overall, and I competed in two of the events behind it: a silver for an ISRO geospatial interface and a bronze in game design (GDAI) for Cell-O.
Today I'm a UI/UX Design Intern at Innovista Labs, designing AI-powered products, and the Placement Coordinator for my department.
